Translation is just like a flower

Petals go in radically different directions, but they always rely on the center of the flower.

In the process of translation, involved languages can become very hard to coordinate, but, in the end, they all agree in the human realities behind their words. Translating is watering that flower to let each language follow its own path, like petals, but without forgetting the essence of the meaning that unites them.

My main field is audiovisual and literary translation, though I have also come across gastronomic or fashion related articles.

I have worked translating and subtitling films like Rien n'est pardonné (France, 2017) or Modified (Canada, 2017), along with many short films for 14th Barcelona Human Rights Film Festival. For some time, I've also helped translate some articles to English from the World Gastronomic Institute. Now I am in my way to become a fully fledged Chinese translator and researcher.
